MATERIALS
The leg frames and table tops are manufactured from engineered hardwood that are made up from finger-jointed staves. This provides the block board appearance. Each wooden component is cut from those panels, laminated using Polyurethane adhesive and then machined to detail. All wooden components are finished with three coats of ‘Tung Oil’ – a natural, sustainable air drying oil produced from seeds that provide an even, deep transparent coating that hardens upon exposure to air and is easily maintained.
The internal structure is manufactured from wood-based sheet materials.
These structures are covered with CMHR (Combustion Modified High Resilience) Polyurethane foam for comfort and compliance with flammability requirements for contract use.
Upholstery fabrics are available in a wide selection of patterns, colours & weaves, suitable for longevity in public areas.
