MATERIALS

The seat and back shell for Betsy seating are produced from laminated Birch plywood. These are inserted with clinched `T’ nuts, providing strong, metal to metal fixings when assembled together using mild steel bracketry and machine bolts.

These components are covered in a selection of V28 to V33 CMHR (Combustion Modified High Resilience) flexible Polyurethane foams complying with `Crib 5’ flammability requirements.

Upholstery fabrics for seat and back pads are available in a wide range of patterns, colours and weaves. They are produced and supplied at a minimum of `Crib 5’ flame retardancy level: suitable for contract use in public areas. Since individual fabrics can differ, we recommend that manufacturers are consulted for full fabric specifications.

A selection of frames are available for choice. These are produced in cast Aluminium, which has either a polished or epoxy powder coated finish, 12.7mm diameter solid steel rod with and epoxy powder coated finish or in solid Beech wood with a durable lacquer finish.
