The frames are produced in 12.7mm diameter Mild Steel Rod, which is bent and formed into shape before being welded together. The frame is attached to a laser cut, 3mm thick Mild Steel seat plate used to tie the frame together and as a mounting point for the seat. This assembly is then finished with an epoxy powder coating providing a clean, uniform durable surface. The frames are fitted with four Polypropylene saddle feet to make them suitable for all type of flooring.

The seat is produced out of two 12mm Birchwood laminated plywood boards that are sandwiched together. The upper board is covered with Combustion Modified High Resilience (CMHR) Polyester foam layers complying to ‘Crib 5’ flammability requirements. This assembly is then upholstered. Seating fabrics for the seat are available in a selection of patterns, colours and weaves. They are produced and supplied at a minimum of ‘Crib 5’ and are suitable for contract use in public areas. Since individual fabrics can differ, we recommend that manufacturers’ details are consulted for full performance specifications.

The seat assembly is attached to the frame using metric steel machine screws connected to clinched ‘T’ nuts fitted to the seat board, providing a secure fix.
