The FSC® (Melamine Faced Chipboard) option is 25mm thick, produced with an FSC® certified particle board core with a durable Melamine surface coating that is resistant to chemical and dirt ingress. Both Laminate finished options utilise a 25mm moisture resistant MDF core which is bonded with a High-Pressure Laminate surface coating and balance to the underside. All work surfaces are finished with a 2mm thick, high impact resistant ABS edge detail that provides additional durability. This is bonded to the board using water-based synthetic polymer adhesives. Solvents are avoided in all Gresham processes.
Both work surface and edge details are available in a selection of wood grained or uni finishes that can be matched or contrasted depending upon colour requirements.
The cross beam, tilt mechanism and twin tubular frame uprights are produced in various section of steel for strength and accuracy. The horizontal part of the framework and feet on the static models are produce in die-cast and turned Aluminium. All metalwork has a durable epoxy powder coated finish that is available in a selection of colours.
Plastic components, such as castors and endcap mouldings are produced in Polypropylene and coloured to suite with the frames. The castors wheels are produced in a softer Polyurethane, suitable for all floor types.
