Community

CSR isn’t just a buzzword

At Gresham, community is ingrained in our company culture and practices. We firmly believe in contributing positively to the communities in which we operate, and we do so in several meaningful ways.

We prioritise employing local people. By hiring from the local community, we not only support the economy but also foster a sense of belonging and pride among our employees. We’re committed to providing stable employment, promoting a job-for-life ethos. In fact, our average length of service is an impressive 22 years, a testament to our dedication to our employees’ well-being and professional growth.

We believe in giving back to the community that has supported us over the years. That’s why we actively engage in initiatives aimed at making a positive impact.  Hosting talks and events for schools, colleges, and universities and offering hands-on experience through work experience programs, allow us to inspire and educate the next generation, sharing insights into our industry and encouraging young talents to pursue their passions.

Community is a huge part of who we are

Furthermore, our commitment to charity support is deeply ingrained in our values, and we’re dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. By partnering with local charities, we aim to address pressing social issues and contribute to positive change in our communities. Each of the four charities we support holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re passionate about the causes they champion. Whether it’s supporting vulnerable individuals and families, promoting education and empowerment, or conserving the environment, these charities are making a real impact, and we’re honoured to stand by their side.

Through our support, we aim to not only provide financial assistance but also raise awareness and inspire others to get involved. From fundraising events to volunteering opportunities, we encourage our employees and partners to join us in our efforts to create a brighter future for all.
