The GC5 chair is a transitional chair that supports agile learning environments where teaching and training modes are fluid and traditional chairs and desks just won’t do. They are designed to combine mobile seating with personal storage whilst providing a robust surface which can be utilised for paperwork tasks, when using portable electronic devices or when moving from collaborative to individual working scenarios.

MATERIALS
The single piece seat and back shell are produced in injection moulded Polypropylene, as is the storage basket. The seat support and base are moulded in a combination of 30% and 35% glass-filled Polyamide (Nylon).
The seat support column and tablet arm are produced in mild steel with an epoxy powder coating.
The tablet is produced in with an MDF substrate and High Pressure Laminate (HPL) surface coating. This component is then over-moulded a durable, soft-touch Polyurethane edge detail.
Castors are assembled from a selection of steel and Polyamide (Nylon) components.
When upholstered, the seat pad is produced in 9mm Plywood which is fitted with threaded `T’ nuts. This is then covered with a layer on CMRH foam which is adhered into place. The resultant assembly is then upholstered in a suitable seating fabric. The properties of each fabric vary and we would recommend visiting the manufacturer’s website to obtain details.
