West Yorkshire Police HQ

Case study

West Yorkshire Police were relocating to three new buildings, two dedicated to administration and a third a state-of-the-art training centre. The restructure programme ensured administration staff were housed alongside the training facility, leading to better working cohesion across the force.

West Yorkshire Police Relocation

Client: Interserve

Products Used:
Desks, tables, storage, soft seating and task chairs as part of 1,000 new workstations.

Gresham was selected by project construction company Interserve to work alongside them and the police to deliver a turnkey furniture fit-out for each building.

Gresham developed an interior design scheme with Interserve’s in-house designers, enabling the company to provide all the furniture for different areas in each building, including standard offices, breakout space and canteen furniture, through to bespoke pieces designed for high security zones. Gresham managed the design and fit out through each step of the project, providing the client and Interserve with CAD plans, interior mood schemes and, post manufacture of furniture, a full delivery and installation of all products.

Clients View:
“The value of the project as a whole was in the region of £1m, a considerable programme. A wide range of furniture was required and both I and my client have been delighted with the quality of the products and the service provided by the Gresham team. There has been excellent attention to detail combined with an eye for the overall look of both product and surroundings. With regards to pricing I believe Gresham offers extremely good value for money. The longevity of product is essential to me as we are running these facilities for the next 25 years. I look forward to working with Gresham again in the near future.”
