Case study

The University of Liverpool completed a £12m extension of its Management School on Chatham Street in 2016. The project aimed to provide newly fitted teaching spaces, computer suites and two large lecture theatres for its students as well as a mock professional trading floor and marketing suite comprising conference room, observation suite and boardroom.

1600mm cantilever desks, tall under desk mobile pedestals, SIS/7A8, Take Up, M1 meeting chairs, 1400mm x800mm Telford tilt top tables, Script and Lahr. Along with the standard products we provided a bespoke solution for the staff to hold students work in the form of a specially designed small filing unit.

This large scale project saw Gresham challenged to create professional, functional spaces within the existing building and new extension, bringing the old and new together. Working in conjunction and partnership with the architect along with the project manager the project team working tirelessly to deliver a truly outstanding environment for the management school.

Delivered in two phases, Gresham used its comprehensive furniture portfolio to provide the University with flexible, stylish furniture appropriate for each individual area. We fitted the PC suite along with the open student area. The café area was completely refurbished with all new furniture and in addition to this we re-fitted all offices and the seminar rooms.
