Nottinghamshire College

Case study

Designed by Turner Townsend architects and as one of the most dynamic colleges in the Mansfield and Ashfield areas, the client wanted to reflect the high-tech nature of the campus with the furniture within its varied use environment.

Client:
Nottinghamshire College

Brief:
West Nottinghamshire College had a £40 million new campus built housing a dedicated music centre, health and beauty spa, sports and recreation centre, classrooms, lecture theatres, an engineering centre, as well as a fining dining restaurant to house over 20,000 students. The challenge was to furnish these spaces making it a world-class facility whilst meeting style, budgetary, functionality and sustainability requirements.

Solution:
Gresham worked closely with the client to realise their vision to provide a complete solution for the college. From initial design concepts, including mood boards, CAD plans, CGI presentations and bespoke designs, right through to delivery and installation, we tailored our proposals to meet their needs.

Then over a number of scheduled phases, Gresham products were installed throughout the individual campus buildings; with each area being specified in different colours to denote different learning zones and including a variety of furniture.

Clients View:

“From initial brief right through to install and delivery, the Gresham team worked to the upmost level of professionalism. Their knowledge of the education sector ensured that we were provided with a solution which met our needs perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend Gresham as a supplier of Further and Higher Education furniture and look forward to working with them in the future”.
